As an engineering student, it's easy to fall into the trap of comparing yourself to your peers. You may look at your classmates and see them excelling in their studies, landing internships and jobs at top companies, and earning significant salaries. It's natural to feel envious and question your own abilities and progress.
However, it's important to remember that we all have our own unique journeys. Just because someone else is further ahead in their career or earning a higher salary, doesn't mean that you're not on the right track. It's important to focus on your own progress and celebrate your own accomplishments, rather than comparing yourself to others.
One way to avoid comparison is to focus on your own goals and aspirations. Set your own milestones and celebrate when you reach them. By focusing on your own journey, you'll be able to appreciate the progress you've made and the challenges you've overcome, rather than feeling envious of others. Another way to avoid comparison is to remember that life is not a straight line. Just because someone else seems to be doing well now, doesn't mean that's where they'll be in the future. Many people experience ups and downs in their careers, and it's important to remember that your own journey will have its own twists and turns.
